2. Data sources and accuracy

All contractor data is sourced from official state licensing boards and other public record sources. ContractorVetted does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information. State boards are the authoritative source. We display what they report; we are not responsible for errors in state board records.

3. Prohibited uses

You may not use ContractorVetted to:

• Determine eligibility for employment, housing, credit, or insurance (FCRA prohibited use)
• Harass, defame, or threaten any individual or business
• Scrape or bulk-download data without written permission
• Resell or redistribute data as a competing product

4. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" without any warranty. We make no representations about the accuracy of license status at any given moment. Always verify directly with the state licensing board before making any financial or hiring decision.

5. Dispute process

If you believe a record on ContractorVetted is inaccurate, disputes must be filed with the relevant state licensing board. We cannot alter official public records. See ourdispute guide.

6. Limitation of liability

ContractorVetted shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of this site, including hiring decisions made in reliance on information displayed here.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
